VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Supporters and volunteers for Bernie Sanders’ campaign are working hard for his rally Sunday at Hudson’s Bay High in Vancouver.

Gregory McKelvey with Oregon for Bernie said 2,000 people have already confirmed their attendance, however they are not guaranteed a seat.

“There’s definitely going to be a lot of people who won’t get in,” McKelvey said, adding that there is an additional 4,000 people interested in coming on Facebook.

The high school fits about 1,400 people and McKelvey said there will be overflow areas set up.

According to Sander’s campaign page doors open at 11 a.m. Sunday and is open to the public.

“Tickets are not required, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served.”

According to Vancouver Police there will not be any street closures, but warn drivers about the possibility of traffic delays.
