PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A Multnomah County Grand Jury indicted three men suspected to be involved in the murder of a 21-year-old pregnant woman in 2014.

Officials said 22-year-old DeAnthony Simmons, 21-year-old Demetrius Ray Brown, and 22-year-old Geontae Brachaurd Jones were charged for the murder of Ervaeua Herring in August 2014.

Brown and Jones were already in custody in Multnomah County on unrelated charges. Simmons is being held at the Oregon Department of Corrections.

On August 17 2014, Portland police responded to reports of gunshots at the Eastwood Village Apartments on Southeast Powell Boulevard.

Officers arrived to find evidence of gunfire in apartment #7 and Herring dead from a gunshot wound.

Medical examiners later determined that Herring had been in the early stages of pregnancy when she was killed.

The suspects were described as three African American men armed with guns.

Homicide detectives believe the shooting was gang-related.

Portland police expect more arrests in this case.

Brown and Jones will be arraigned Tuesday. Simmons will be arraigned on a later date.
