VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Multiple people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles in Vancouver on Wednesday morning.

The collision occurred outside Vancouver Fire Department's Station 3 near East Mill Plain Boulevard and North Devine Road. Firefighters heard the crash and immediately rushed outside.

Police said one vehicle turned in front of an oncoming vehicle. An SUV involved in the crash then slammed into a bus stop.

Firefighters said a witness pulled three people out of the two vehicles. Two adults and a child were reportedly unconscious. A fourth person also suffered injuries described as serious.

Firefighters said all four were taken to the hospital. Police said five people were taken to the hospital in all, including two children, but nobody suffered injuries considered life-threatening.

Firefighters said there were no reports of injuries involving anyone at the bus stop.

Officers expected Mill Plain Boulevard to remain closed for some time due to the crash.
