Woman arrested for January bank robbery in Forest Grove

FOREST GROVE, OR (KPTV) -

After a nearly four-month investigation, police arrested a woman accused of robbing a bank in Forest Grove.

Carissa Rachel Hartung, 35, was charged Monday for the January bank robbery after she was arrested on unrelated charges in Portland on April 29.

Investigators said Hartung, who is listed as a transient but has connections to Forest Grove, passed a demand note to a teller at the Wells Fargo branch on the 1900 block of Pacific Avenue on Jan. 12.

The Forest Grove Police Department and the FBI had been investigating the case. A surveillance image was released of the suspect at the time of the robbery.
