TriMet app update leaves users looking for tickets they already bought

Posted: Updated:

A number of disgruntled TriMet riders sounded off on social media after an app glitch deleted their tickets.

TriMet’s app launched an update Wednesday morning, but some users logged on to find their purchased tickets were gone.

A TriMet spokesperson said that the problem has now been fixed.

For anyone whose tickets disappeared, there is a way to get them back.

Users can start by logging to their account at TriMet.TransitSherpa.com, then click on “My Tickets” and hit “Recall Tickets.”

Users will then need to go to the TriMet app and hit “Refresh,” then go back to the website and hit “Cancel Recall,” before refreshing the app again.

The app update also integrated the RideTap program, which allows users to also use services like Lyft or car2go.
