VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two men were arrested after police served a narcotics search warrant on Wednesday.

The Vancouver Police Neighborhood Response Team and the Clark County Sheriff's Office Tactical Detective Unit served the search warrant at a home located in the 6100 block of Northeast 112th Avenue.

Clark County Sheriff's Office said they received numerous complaints from neighbors about the home.

According to CCSO, the home has been posted as "uninhabitable", and the owner has been living in a small room in the garage and allowing multiple transients to live on the property.

Through large garbage piles on the property, detectives found information that William Rathgeber, 55, the home owner, had been dealing methamphetamine from the home. Rathgeber would trade meth for cash and stolen property.

CCSO said the home is located right across from Covington Middle School.

Detectives encountered six people during the search and arrested only two of those people.

Rathgeber was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, utilizing a building for drug purposes and obstruction.

Allen W. Vandemarr, 20, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
