PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A drunken driver who had two warrants for his arrest crashed into a house in southeast Portland and was caught walking away from the scene, according to police.

Police responded to Southeast 112th Avenue and Holgate Boulevard at 10:06 a.m. Wednesday.

Officers arrived in the neighborhood and located the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Terrol Tyrell White. He was taken to the hospital and then booked into the Multnomah County Jail.

Investigators said White was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He is facing charges of DUII, reckless driving, criminal mischief and failure to perform the duties of a driver (hit and run).

Police said White also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
