PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man on the run for more than two decades who was arrested in Mexico in 2015 has pleaded guilty to rape charges in Oregon.

Paul Jackson, 46, pleaded guilty Thursday in two separate cases to charges including first-degree rape, sex abuse and kidnapping.

Jackson was indicted by a Washington County grand jury in June 1990.

Investigators said Jackson and his half-brother Vance Roberts chained up a 16-year-old girl and sexually abused her for days. She managed to escape and contacted Hillsboro police.

Detectives searched their home and found evidence of a previous similar sexual assault.

One of the survivors told FOX 12 this week she was in a dark place in her life, working as a prostitute to pay for a drug habit, and believes that is what Jackson and Roberts preyed on.

Both men fled before trial. Roberts turned himself in to Hillsboro police in 2006. He is now serving a 108-year prison sentence.

Jackson was caught in Mexico in September 2015.

He had recently been featured on John Walsh's "The Hunt" on CNN and was profiled several times on "America's Most Wanted."

Tips led detectives to Guadalajara. Jackson was arrested on his way to work at an electronics store, according to CNN. He was using the alias Paul Bennett Hamilton and had been living in Mexico for several years.

He is set to be sentenced May 10.
