A Hillsboro woman was killed in a motorcycle crash in Columbia County Thursday, according to Oregon State Police.
Troopers responded at approximately 5 p.m. to the report of a single vehicle crash on Highway 202 west of the 47 junction.
Preliminary investigation revealed a group of motorcyclists were traveling east on Highway 202 when one of the riders failed to negotiate a corner.
The 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle struck a guardrail, which ejected the rider according to Oregon State Police.
The rider, Peggy Aitchison, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crews closed the highway during the investigation, but has since reopened.
