PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A no complaint order has been issued for an Oregon woman who was arrested on the charge of third-degree sex abuse after a flight from Las Vegas to Portland.

Heidi McKinney, 26, of Banks, was arrested at Portland International Airport on Sunday night.

Port of Portland Police Department officers were called out to a report of a sex crime on Alaska Airlines flight 621 from Las Vegas.

The plane was traveling over Oregon airspace at the time the crime allegedly occurred, according to a police report.

When the plane landed at PDX, officers contacted the woman who reported the crime. The woman told officers another female passenger had touched her inappropriately without her consent.

After the initial investigation, McKinney was arrested on the charge of third-degree sex abuse.

McKinney was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and released on bail Monday. When contacted by FOX 12 on Monday, McKinney said, "Don't believe everything you hear."

A no complaint order was issued by prosecutors Monday, meaning the charge has been dropped for the time being.

The case is now under review by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Portland.
