SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be back in Oregon for a rally Tuesday night – this time in Salem.

Senator Sanders will take the stage at the Salem Armory at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Since his run for the White House began, Sanders has been to Vancouver, Portland and Eugene, but this will be his first rally in Salem.

It is open to the public and people will be let inside on a first come, first served basis.

Sanders campaign volunteer Kathy Randall has been involved in Democratic campaigns since the mid-70s. She is working day and night in support of Sanders and as someone who lives in Salem, she is thrilled that Sanders is making her home town a priority.

“I mean, they remember Portland, they remember Eugene and we in Salem get ignored. So I’m happy. I’m over the moon!” Randall laughs and adds, “It’s going to be ‘yooooge’, as Bernie would say. It’s a lot of fun.”

The doors at the Salem Armory will open to the public at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
