Someone is setting off explosives in a Longview neighborhood, and neighbors are very worried that someone will get hurt.

People living in the area of Cedar Place and Cascade Way told FOX 12 they've been seeing and hearing explosions in that area since late February, and they are very concerned that the culprit seems to be getting bolder.

Martin Kauble is just one of the neighbors who is worried about his safety. He said he has been hearing booming explosions around his home for over two months.

Some of the explosions have been on his property leaving a crater behind and torn up pieces of what looks like a homemade device.

One time, Kauble said he came outside to find his flower bed on fire.

Kauble said he has called the police and even talked to Mayor Hales about the problem. He wants whoever is responsible caught before something terrible happens.

"I think everyone's in danger with something like this, not just me. When something like this happens on your property, it becomes personal. And I don't believe I'm being targeted but I think the neighborhood has definitely been under siege."

Longview Police told FOX 12 they are investigating several reports of explosions and they are looking at a potential suspect. No arrests have been made.
