VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

The Clark County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the 31-year-old man who was shot multiple times and killed at a Vancouver apartment complex.

The death of Fernando Cendejas-Pardo has been ruled a homicide.

Police responded to reports of a man dead inside a home on the 4500 block of Nicholson Road at 4 a.m. Monday.

Police initially described the man's death as suspicious, before confirming that a homicide investigation was underway Tuesday.

No suspect information has been released in this case, but detectives said there is no immediate threat to the public.

The medical examiner's report released Wednesday states Cendejas-Pardo's cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, while the manner of death was a homicide.

Police are asking anyone who may have been traveling along Nicholson Road or Falk Road, between Fourth Plain Boulevard and SR-500, from midnight to 1 a.m. Monday to contact Detective Lawrence Zapata at 360-487-7420 or Detective Tom Topaum at 360-487-7425.

Anyone with surveillance video in those areas is also asked to contact detectives.
