SANDY, OR (KPTV) -

A tanker truck slammed into two parked cars, a tree and then three RVs on a sales lot in Sandy on Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to Proctor Boulevard and Beers Avenue at 7:37 a.m. to find a crashed commercial fuel truck and trailer owned by Space Age Fuel.

The fuel tank of one car was ruptured and a diesel saddle tank on the fuel truck had also ruptured. Both were leaking fuel.

Crews quickly contained the leaks with the use of absorbent materials, diking and collection containers.

Investigators said the driver of the truck was not injured, but may have experienced a medical incident leading to the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.

No other injuries were reported in connection with the crash, which remains under investigation.

Highway 26 westbound was closed in the area for several hours. It re-opened at 10 a.m.\

The RVs were for sale at Frank's RVs.
