PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A reward is being offered to track down a man who attempted to rob a Subway sandwich shop in downtown Portland.

A man approached the counter and demanded money from a worker at the Subway at 555 S.W. Oak St. the evening of May 10.

The man implied he had a gun under his sweatshirt.

The worker told police she refused to give the man any money, so he turned and walked out of the shop.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5-foot-8 with a stocky build. He was wearing a long white T-shirt with block lettering on it. The Subway employee said the man smelled like alcohol.

Surveillance of the suspect was released Monday.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
