Police: Man who stole relative's car linked to other break-ins in Woodburn

WOODBURN, OR (KPTV) -

A man who stole a relative's car was caught with paperwork linking him to other vehicle break-ins in the Woodburn area, according to police.

Police arrested 31-year-old Raul Chacon on Saturday.

Officers said he stole a relative's car near the area of Brown Street and Tulip Avenue. When the car was recovered, police said they found stolen paperwork linking Chacon to another stolen vehicle, as well as paperwork connecting him to additional car break-ins in the Woodburn area.

Chacon was arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, third-degree theft and parole violation.

 Anyone with information or knowledge of Chacon's suspected criminal activity is asked to call the Woodburn Police Department at 503-982-2345.
