PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man wanted for the robberies of multiple convenience stores in Portland was caught driving a stolen car in southeast Portland, according to police.

Officers arrested Brandon David Lamb, 36, on Thursday.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon highlighted a trio of convenience store robberies earlier this week, but detectives said they were able to identify Lamb as the suspect prior to his arrest.

He was stopped driving a stolen car Thursday at Southeast 154th and Harrison Street, according to police.

Detectives said he robbed a Plaid Pantry store on the 7100 block of Northeast Killingsworth Street at 1:39 a.m. May 7. He is then accused of robbing KC's Mini Mart on the 14100 block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard at 12:51 a.m. on Tuesday this week, followed by another Plaid Pantry store on the 6400 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday.

He is believed to have had a gun in his waistband during Tuesday's robberies.

Lamb was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on charges of second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of methamphetamine.

Lamb is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
