PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Oregonians apparently can't remember how to spell 'definitely.'

That's according to a chart from Google that claims to pinpoint the most commonly misspelled word in each state.

The search engine drew up the infographic to coincide with the finals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which ended in a tie Thursday evening.

In order to come up with the top misspellings, Google's Trends division used data from its search engine to determine the most common words included in the search phrase "How to spell..."

In Oregon, people searched for "How to spell 'definitely'" more than any other word in 2016.

To the north, people in Washington had a hard time with 'pneumonia.'

In California and Idaho, the most commonly misspelled word was 'desert.'
