PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Police are looking for suspects that broke into several cars along Forest Park’s Wildwood trailhead Thursday.

Investigators said thieves smashed windows in several vehicles and stole credit cards, among other valuables and items.

There are at least seven different areas of broken glass in several parking areas adjacent to the trails, and hikers and runners said they definitely noticed the damage Saturday afternoon.

“It’s frustrating,” said runner Patrick O’Harrow, who frequently uses the trail. “Even if you don’t have anything (valuable), it’s a real pain to go through the process of repairing your window.”

O’Harrow said he’s been a victim of smash-and-grabs in the past and has several friends who’ve been victimized at trailheads recently.

"There are certain trails I won't go to and want to leave my car,” he said. “I'll run early in the morning or late at night probably closer to my house and leave the car right there -- which is sad, because if you love the trails, it's limiting your options."

Police released three images of people they believe to be suspects in the crime. If you know anything about the case, call police.
