A man was arrested early last week after airport police found over 11 pounds of marijuana in his luggage.

Officials said 33-year-old Jerry Brown was arrested on May 22 at the Portland International Airport after police seized 190 ounces of marijuana from his checked bag.

According to court documents, Port of Portland police were notified by TSA about a suspicious bag checked onto a Southwest Airlines plane.

Police were able identify the bag as Brown’s and he was later arrested. He now faces charges of unlawful possession and exportation of marijuana.

Brown was released on bail from on May 24 and was indicted Tuesday.

He is set to appear in court Wednesday morning.
