A mom in Tasmania, Australia gave birth to a baby boy recently, much to her surprise.

Koto Nakamura thought she was having a girl.

Jes Jackson of Itty Bitty Photography was in the delivery room taking photos of the birth last Friday when doctors showed Nakamura her new son.

The look of surprise on her face is priceless.

Kidspot.com.au reports Nakamura's midwife told her a story during delivery of a woman who was told her baby was one sex, only to learn the opposite at birth.

So when the doctor told Nakamura she was having a boy, she thought it was a joke.

When she realized the doctor was serious, Nakamura's surprise quickly turned to joy.

"Once she took a look for herself and it sunk in they were beyond excited and [dad] Sina was planning camping trips with his son," Jackson told Kidspot.

The website reports the couple named their son Taiga, a Japanese name meaning "big and gracious."
