A man on a motorcycle died after hitting the back of a semi on Highway 217 in Beaverton.

Police identified the man Wednesday as 32-year-old Benjamin George Carruth of Beaverton.

Emergency crews responded to the northbound lanes near Walker Road at 9:34 p.m. Saturday.
