Portland man sentenced to 50 months in prison for ID theft

DALLAS, OR (KPTV) -

A Portland man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison after he tried to cash stolen checks at the Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde.

Tuan Minh Kim, 44, was sentenced to serve 50 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to two counts of identity theft.

Kim was arrested at the Spirit Mountain Casino in Grand Ronde after he tried to cash stolen checks with an altered driver's license.

The case was investigated by the Grand Ronde Tribal Police Department.
