LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

Two women and a baby were injured and a man was flown to the hospital in critical condition after a domestic violence incident in Lebanon, according to police.

Officers responded to a home on the 800 block of West Sherman Street at 10:12 a.m. Wednesday. It was reported that two women with an infant were involved in a physical altercation with a man.

When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man sitting in the middle of a field near the home with a gunshot wound. Investigators determined it was self-inflicted and his injuries were described as critical.

A 43-year-old woman, a 19-year-old woman and an 8-month-old baby were taken to the hospital. Police did not immediately provide an update on their conditions.

Witnesses told police that the two women, one carrying the baby, ran out of the house screaming. The man was then seen coming out of the home a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing and police did not release any other details or identify the people involved in this case.
