Missing 12-year-old boy found safe in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Update: (9:48 p.m.): Vancouver Police have said 12-year-old Treyson Jones was found safe near the Jim Parsley Center a little after 9:45 p.m.

The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing 12-year-old boy.

Police said Treyson Jones was reported missing around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday at the Jim Parsley Center, located at 4100 Plomondon Street. Treyson was supposed to be picked up by a family member at that location.

Police said his belongings were found at the center but he was not.

Treyson is described as an Asian male, about 5 feet tall and very thin. His hair is medium length and covers his ears. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, dark top, blue jeans and camouflage colored shoes with orange in them.

Police said search and rescue has been activated.
