Police searching for armed robbery suspects in N. Portland

Police are searching for armed robbery suspects in north Portland Saturday morning.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, the search is in connection with an armed robbery at a Dotty's, located on Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard that lead to a traffic pursuit into Portland.

The suspect crashed his car while he was exiting the Fremont Bridge onto North Kerby Avenue, according to police.

Police said crews searched in the areas of North Cook to Fremont Street, and Williams to Mississippi Avenues.

The suspects are described as four African American males, and at least one is armed with a handgun.

One person, Brandon Williams, was taken into custody by police during the neighborhood search, and has been turned over to Beaverton Police.

He will face a robbery I charge, according to Beaverton Police.

Area residents hearing suspicious noises outside their homes or see someone hiding in the neighborhood are asked to immediately call 911.
