PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

From things like drugs and needles, to garbage and broken locks, Centennial Little League is frustrated about ongoing vandalism on its property, but now they are getting help from a local business.

“It’s a huge problem,” Rob Diesel with the southeast Portland league said. “People breaking into our dumpster and porta potties.”

Diesel said he’s seen drugs, needles and random items left behind in their outhouses.

Since Fox 12 reported on their story in May, Diesel said a Beaverton company offered to help the league.

Milestone Systems Inc. in Beaverton provided a surveillance system that is now located near the concession stand to help with the issue, according to Diesel.

“Out of something bad, something good happens. We can't complain, it's great."

Diesel said the league is a non-profit and the help is greatly appreciated. He hopes to work with parents and community members to figure out a way to solve the issue.
