LONGVIEW, WA (KPTV) -

The Longview Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a man who stole a purse and then used the victim's credit card.

Police said on June 12 around 5 p.m., a woman's purse was stolen from her shopping cart while she was at Winco Foods.

The suspect then used the victim's credit card an hour later to make a purchase at Target.

Police received surveillance images of the suspect.

The suspect is described as being in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He has short brown hair and his face was unshaven.

Police said the man was with a white woman who had shoulder-length brownish red hair and appeared to be in her 30s.

The suspect was seen driving a dark blue 1995 Nissan Pathfinder with Oregon license plates 687GCX. The vehicle has large "spider web" cracks on the driver's side front windshield.

If you recognize the man or woman in the surveillance images, please contact Longview Police.
