Oregon State Police responded to a crash involving a semi-truck and a train trestle near Lowell Tuesday afternoon.

According to OSP, a semi-truck driven by 37-year-old Rana A. Tanveer jackknifed and crashed into a Union Pacific train trestle along Highway 58 around 4 p.m.

An RV, driven by 62-year-old Pamela Jane Herring, was unable to avoid the semi-truck trailer and crashed into it.

Herring was trapped inside the car for nearly 2 hours before officials could extricate her.
