A southeast Portland woman has filed a lawsuit against Bullseye Glass.
Valerie Silva, 63, claims the toxic chemicals released into the air by Bullseye Glass caused her lung cancer.
According to documents, Silva worked at a Fred Meyer near the Bullseye Glass plant for several years. Silva said because the company was releasing high levels of arsenic, cadmium and other toxic chemicals so close to her workplace she developed cancer.
Silva is suing for punitive damages and attorney fees.
