PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A 40-year-old man was arrested after he led police on chase with a stolen car and almost hit an officer with the car Wednesday afternoon.

Portland Police said around 1:43 p.m., an officer was driving westbound on Powell Boulevard near 122nd Avenue when the Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) notified the officer about a stolen black Audi A6 that passed by eastbound on Powell.

The officer followed the car. The driver pulled off Powell and parked in an apartment complex parking lot near 124th Avenue. The officer contacted the driver, who then led the officer on a foot pursuit through the complex and ran back to the stolen car.

As the suspect sped out of the parking lot he almost hit the officer. The officer was not injured.

The suspect abandoned the stolen car behind a vacant home in the 3100 block of Southeast 145th Avenue.

Officers found the suspect at Southeast 148th Avenue and Powell Boulevard and arrested him.

The suspect, Bradley Evan Fullbright, was taken to Multnomah County Jail and charged with 17 different felony and misdemeanor charges. He will be arraigned on Thursday.
