SANDY, OR (KPTV) -

A bookkeeper is accused of stealing a "significant amount of money" from a Sandy business.

Paula Lorraine Prosch, 36, turned herself in to police Wednesday after being indicted by a Clackamas County grand jury on charges including first-degree theft, identity theft and first-degree forgery.

The investigation began in October 2015.

Sandy police received a report of theft and embezzlement at a Sandy business where Prosch worked as a bookkeeper. Police did not identify the business.

A forensic investigation of the company's accounts showed Prosch stole money using different methods, according to detectives.

Police said none of the money has been recovered.

Anyone with information about Prosch or this investigation is asked to call the Sandy Police Department tip line at 503-489-2195.

A jail booking photo was unavailable for Prosch.
