Police: Second suspect arrested in connection to April home invasion robbery

CAVE JUNCTION, OR (KPTV) -

A second suspect was arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery in Cave Junction on April 19, according to Oregon State Police.

Detectives from the Oregon State Police Major Crimes unit in Central Point arrested Robbie Shane Cruse, 32, of Grants Pass on Wednesday.

According to Oregon State Police, troopers were dispatched on April 19 to the report of a home invasion robbery on Holland Loop Road in Cave Junction.

Initial reports indicated that one person living in the home was pistol whipped and shot by the suspects.

The victim was treated and released from a local hospital the next day, according to Oregon State Police.

Police said that there were four suspects involved in the incident, and each of them were wearing black masks covering their faces.

According to Oregon State Police, detectives arrested one of the suspects, Linzin Rooni Eshalom, 33, from Arizona on April 26. Eshalom had been treated at a local hospital for multiple gunshot wounds.

He self-discharged from the hospital, and was later arrested in Phoenix, Arizona according to Oregon State Police. Eshalom faces multiple charges related to the incident.

According to Oregon State Police, Cruse faces multiple charges including two counts of 1st degree burglary, two counts of 1st degree robbery, two counts of assault in the 2nd degree, and two counts of attempted murder.
