PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

If you head down to Waterfront Park this weekend, you will see quite a sight-- dozens of doors.

To celebrate Pride Week and the city’s LGBTQ community, Pride Northwest and the Portland Bureau of Transportation came up with the Better Naito Doors of Love project.

People can stop by Waterfront Park and write messages of love and support on one of the 80 doors in the 200 foot installation.

The project will be on display until Monday, then part of it will be moved to the atrium of Portland’s City Hall.

Organizers are working on figuring out what will happen after that.

“This really is an expression of Portland’s love for Pride and for Orlando and for peace,” said Greg Raisman from the Portland Bureau of Transportation.
