PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A woman charged in a deadly stabbing at a Portland strip club made her first court appearance on Friday. The victim's sister spoke with FOX 12 about the stabbing.

Rinita Lowe, 23, faced a Multnomah County judge for allegedly stabbing and killing 29-year-old Shantina Turner at Club Skinn on Northeast 60th Avenue.

Turner's family said this attack wasn't out of the blue. Shalonte Crawford, Turner's sister, told FOX 12 Lowe had come after her before.

"No matter what, she was always there. So for me to wake up and her not be there, it's just heartbreaking. That's my only sister."

Crawford is devastated that her big sister and best friend is gone.

Turner was at Club Skinn Wednesday night when police say Lowe came in, the two started arguing and then Lowe allegedly stabbed Turner to death.

Lowe made her first court appearance and entered a plea of not guilty to one count of murder.

Crawford said she is furious. She said the stabbing wasn't a random or spur of the moment attack. She claims Lowe had been targeting her sister for weeks.

"It had been going on for over a month. She was just jumped by that girl and some other girls at the beginning of May. Honestly, I couldn't honestly explain to you what their issue was with my sister because my sister didn't bother nobody."

Crawford has dealt with tragedy before.

In 2010, her father Shawn Crawford was shot and killed in front of his north Portland home and his killer has not been caught.

Crawford never thought it would happen twice.

"I really need a lot of prayer. My family does too because it's really hard."

Now, Crawford can only cherish her sister's memory and hopes that her killer is held accountable.

"She's in jail. I want justice to be served because what she did was wrong and there's not no explanation for it."

Lowe is being held in jail without bail. She will be back in court on June 27.
