Pride NW's Waterfront Festival begins this weekend

Portland Pride Week events will pick up this weekend with the Waterfront Festival Saturday.

The festival at Tom McCall Waterfront Park begins at 12 p.m., and booths will be open until 6 p.m.

It costs $7 to get into the event.

Pride Northwest is the organization that puts everything together for Pride Week.

Pride Week events kicked off Friday with the Glow Run. Events continue Sunday with the Pride Parade, which will kickoff at 11 a.m.

During Pride Week events this weekend, TriMet said MAX lines may experience minor delays. Three bus lines will have detours in downtown Portland as well.
