Police: Specialized van stolen from wheelchair-bound woman

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A wheelchair-bound woman's specialized van was stolen early Sunday morning, according to Portland Police.

Officers responded just before 2:20 a.m. to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Southeast 160th Avenue.

The woman, 51, uses her white 2012 Honda Odyssey as her primary source of transportation.

Police said the van has a sticker on it that says “Performance Mobility” in blue letters. The license plate number is 580GWA.

Officers have identified a possible suspect, who was seen taking the van according to police.

The suspect is described as a tall, skinny, white male, about 35-40 years old wearing a baseball cap.

If the car is seen with someone inside, call 911. If nobody is inside, contact the non-emergency number at  503-823-3333.
