A local company is offering a unique way to commute with its green alternative.
GenZe in Southeast Portland brought the world’s first connected electric scooter to the Rose City.
The electric vehicle company invented the GenZe 2.0 that’s connected to AT&T’s 3G network and GPS.
The company has seen a spike in its electric bikes as well, which allows riders to pedal as much or as little as they like.
One charge will travel up to a distance of 18 miles.
In attempts to encourage green transportation, GenZe has partnered with the Community Cycling Center to make bikes more affordable.
Bring your gently used bike to the CCC and receive a 10 percent discount on an electric bicycle.
