Crime Stoppers offers reward in 2011 NE Portland deadly shooting

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A reward is being offered to track down the shooter who gunned down three people, killing one man, in northeast Portland five years ago.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is highlighting the unsolved homicide that occurred June 26, 2011.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at 12:37 near Northeast 82nd and Thompson Street. Leonard James "LJ" Irving, 34, was found dead at the scene.

A second man, Lamar Lovette Hill, was located nearby suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. A third man, Jeray Lashawn Jessie, went to the hospital later with a gunshot wound to his forearm. Both Hill and Jessie were 21 years old at the time.

Detectives determined there was a disturbance that led to the gunfire.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Tipsters can remain anonymous. For more, go to crimestoppersoforegon.com
