PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A northeast Portland restaurant was hit by a burglary suspect twice, and it was all caught on camera.

The owner of Chen's Dynasty said he's fed up after a man broke into the restaurant twice in just two weeks.

"So, it's been a very frustrating two weeks, let's put it that way," said Jacob Echeverria.

Echeverria told FOX 12 his restaurant was first targeted last week. Surveillance cameras caught the suspect inside the restaurant. The suspect got inside by putting a hole in the wall that was big enough for him to fit through.

"I'm just replacing this knob because he broke the whole thing and got into the office. Took all of my partner's identity because she had her wallet in here and they started using it the next day."

The restaurant covered up the hole in the wall and reported the theft to police, but only for the suspect to come back a few days later.

"He came over and tried to get in through that hole to try and get in, but couldn't, so he made another hole."

The second time, the cash register was almost empty so the man got away with only a small amount of cash, but was able to swipe a bunch of liquor bottles from the bar.

"It's an older guy that is desperate for money, definitely, but not a... I wouldn't say a professional, but he knows what he's doing."

Echeverria is hoping the burglar will be caught and that others living and working in the area will be vigilant.

"It's almost impossible to stop something like this, but we can prevent it from happening by letting people know to be aware, just be aware of their surroundings and be aware especially in this neighborhood when the crime has gone up from what I can see."

Echeverria said the break-ins are costing the business about $18,000.

If you recognize the suspect from the surveillance photos, please call Portland Police.
