Clark Co. pharmacist suspended on controlled substance charges

CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) -

A Clark County pharmacist has been suspended after she was found with pills in her possession that had been taken from the pharmacy where she worked.

The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission and the Washington State Department of Health suspended pharmacist Lynne Renee Workman.

According to the Department of Health, Workman had 58 tablets of a variety of controlled substance medication in her possession that were taken from the pharmacy where she worked.

Workman did not have a prescription for any of the medications.

Department of Health said Workman may not work as a pharmacist in Washington until the charges are resolved.
