Police identify man who allegedly fled US Marshals in SE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Portland Police Bureau identified the suspect who allegedly violated his parole and ran from U.S. Marshals in southeast Portland Thursday.

Police said they arrested 28-year-old Tony Brown after he fled from officers and U.S. Marshals and hid a nearby neighborhood.

 Brown was wanted for a parole violation for robbery in the first degree, according to PPB

The Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) were called out to search in the area of southeast 118th Avenue to 122nd Avenue, Holgate Boulevard to Schiller Street Thursday evening.

PPB said Brown was taken into custody without incident.

He is now being held at the Multnomah County Jail.
