PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland Police have arrested a fourth suspect Friday in the August 2014 murder of 21-year-old Ervaeua Herring.

Kelani Brown, 24, has been charged with one count of murder, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

The investigation began on August 17 2014, when officers responded to a shooting at the Eastwood Village Apartments on Southeast Powell Boulevard.

When officers arrived at apartment #7, they found Herring dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

Medical examiners later determined that Herring had been in the early stages of pregnancy when she was killed.

Detectives learned that there were multiple suspects firing guns, and they believed the shooting was gang related.

Since the shooting, a Multnomah County Grand Jury indicted three men,  Demetruis Brown, 21, DeAnthony Simmons, 22, and Geontae Jones, 23 in May. According to police, the three men have also been charged with murder.
