Posted: Updated:
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Thousands of people will be stripping off their clothing and getting on their bikes for the World Naked Bike Ride Saturday.

The Portland ride is a protest against the dependence of fossil fuels, and the vulnerability of cyclists.

Organizers said the ride begins at Mount Scott Park at Southeast 74th and Knight Street, and the route will not be released ahead of time.

Riders will meet at 8 p.m., and the six mile long ride begins at 9 p.m.
