PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Washington County Deputies are asking for help finding a man accused of robbing a deli in the Raleigh Hills neighborhood of Southwest Portland.

Deputies were called to the Lucky Dog Deli on Southwest Scholls Ferry Road near Southwest Beaverton Hillsdale Highway just before 9:30 Saturday night.

When deputies arrived they learned a man had robbed the 27-year-old clerk at gunpoint.

Deputies say the man came into the business and walked quickly towards the clerk who was behind the counter.

The clerk says the man had a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

After getting a small amount of cash, the clerk says the man fled on foot.

Deputies searched the area with the help of a K9 but were unable to find the man.

Investigators have released a picture from the surveillance video showing the man.

Portland Police are investigating a similar robbery that happened less than a half a mile away, a few hours before.

They say both robberies have similarities and they may have been committed by the same man.

The man is described as black with dark skin, in his 20’s with a thin build. He was reported to have a beard and wearing a black hoody with camouflage colored shorts.

Witnesses say the man walked with a distinctive limp on his right side.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
