Three people were killed and another was injured in a shooting at a home east of Woodburn Monday.

Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call on the 13000 block of Kiliam Road NE near Woodburn just after 11 a.m.

When they arrived at the property, deputies discovered two men killed and a man and a woman injured with gunshot wounds.

The surviving man and woman were rushed to a nearby hospital, where the woman died. According to Portland Fire the man remains in critical condition.

Deputies were able to get a vehicle and suspect description at the scene and send it out to other local agencies, leading to a suspect arrest by Oregon State Patrol troopers on Interstate 84 east of Portland around 1:30 p.m.

Investigators have not released any further information on the victims or the suspected shooter.

During a news conference, officials did confirm someone was living in the home on the property, and said there was a legal marijuana grow operation on the property, as well as a blueberry farming operation.

Later updates from the Marion County Sheriff's Office clarified that the marijuana grow operation was on a separate property.

Neighbor Janice Butsch said she is concerned for her family's safety.

"This is hard, I’ve got grandchildren who live next door," Butsch said.

Multiple agencies responded to the call and investigation, including the Woodburn Police Department, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and the Monitor Rural Fire District.

Editor's Note: This story has been updated to reflect the clarification from the Marion Co. Sheriff's Office that there was no marijuana grow operation on the property where the shooting occurred.
