PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Northbound Interstate 5 at the Broadway exit is back open after Portland Police investigated a shooting between two vehicles.

Police said they received reports of people in two vehicles shooting at each other on I-5 northbound near the Broadway exit. Police said at the same time they also received a 911 call of a shooting in the 9100 block of North Endicott Avenue.

Officers responded to both locations.

Police said at the North Endicott Ave. location, they found a heavily damaged vehicle with evidence that someone shot at the car. Police found a 24-year-old David Lee Bradford at the scene. Police said he had been shot in the face but was conscious and alert. He has been taken to a Portland hospital and is expected to survive.

According to police, Bradford has been shot in the face in a previous shooting in which 6-7 rounds were fired.

Police believe both shooting scenes are related.

Police are looking for the second vehicle involved that was driving northbound on I-5. It is a silver sedan that may have damage from hitting the other vehicle and may have bullet holes.

The shootings are being investigated as gang related. The Gang Enforcement Team is responding to investigate.
