Deputies search for woman after possible child abduction attempt in Happy Valley

HAPPY VALLEY, OR (KPTV) -

Clackamas County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who may have tried to take a child from a car at a Happy Valley church.

CCSO said they received a report about a possible abduction attempt around 9:25 p.m. on June 24.

Witnesses told deputies a woman tried to "yank a child out of a car" at the Church of the Nazarene, located at 10401 Southeast 92nd Ave. The woman then fled the scene.

Deputies and a K-9 unit responded then searched the area for a suspect. No suspect was located.
