PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

It might only serve to confirm something many Oregonians already know, but a new report says Portland has some of the worst drivers in the country.

That's according to Allstate Insurance, which ranked the 200 largest cities in the U.S. on the likelihood that drivers will experience a crash.

With an average of 18.3 "hard braking events" per 1,000 miles, Portland came in at number 181 on the list of cities with the "best" drivers.

That's close to the bottom of the list, but hey, at least Seattle drivers are worse, right?

The Emerald City came in two spots lower at number 183.

Portland drivers are also improving (or the rest of the country is getting worse): Oregon's largest city moved up two spots from last year.

Brownsville, Texas took first place, followed by Kansas City, Kansas and Madison, Wisconsin.

Boston, Massachusetts ranked at the bottom of the list at number 200.
