WASHOUGAL, WA (KPTV) -

One person was treated for smoke inhalation and three dogs were rescued after a mobile home fire in Washougal Tuesday night.

Camas-Washougal Fire Department responded to the fire located on Addy Street around 7:40 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from inside the mobile home and from an attached covered porch. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

One person was taken to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.

Firefighters rescued three dogs from inside the mobile home and turned them over to the homeowners.

CWFD said preliminary reports suggest the fire may have started in a barbecue that the homeowner was using on the attached covered porch.
